Our mission
A decade ago, encrypting a website cost money. Certificates were priced like luxuries, renewals were a chore, and so most of the web simply went unencrypted — not because people didn't care about security, but because the toll booth stood between them and doing the right thing. Then Let's Encrypt made certificates free and automatic, and within a few years the encrypted web went from exception to default. The lesson was simple and profound: when doing the right thing is free, everyone does it.
Cookie consent is stuck where SSL was in 2014. The law asks something reasonable — tell visitors what you collect, and let them choose. But the market has turned that reasonable ask into a recurring bill that scales with your success. Grow your traffic, and your consent banner gets more expensive. Add a domain, pay again. The result is predictable: small sites skip compliance and hope, growing sites resent it, and everyone experiences regulation as friction instead of protection.
We think that's backwards. Cookie compliance at any website scale should be cost free. Respecting your visitors' privacy is not a premium feature, and it should never be priced like one. A student's side project and a publisher serving millions of pages have the same obligation to their visitors — so they should have the same access to the tools that fulfill it.
Regulation and compliance must not slow people down. The point of privacy law was never to create a procurement process, a vendor negotiation, and a line in next year's budget. It was to protect people. When compliance is free, automatic, and instant, it stops being a tax on ambition and becomes what it was always meant to be: the baseline. You paste a snippet, your visitors get a real choice, and you get back to building.
That's Let's Consent. Free, for every website, at any scale — so that the compliant web, like the encrypted web, simply becomes the default.
Add a compliant consent banner to your site in minutes. Free — today, and at every scale you reach.

Most Consent Management Platforms charge between 120 and 7,000 euro a year for cookie consent. But the systems required for cookie consent have near-zero scaling cost. A consent platform stores tiny records and serves a small script, so you just need to bring the domain knowledge and very efficient engineering.
Modern technology does the rest. Storage has never been cheaper, compression packs months of consent logs into megabytes, and CDNs deliver the banner worldwide for fractions of a cent. Our whole stack is cloud servers at Hetzner in Germany plus a CDN for static assets — an infrastructure bill small enough that a single sponsor is sustainable.
